Mysterious Teaching

Insights behind the perils of being a teacher

Have you ever moved using a pick-up truck?

I thought I would be able to move my stuff in a couple of days.  It took me 3 HOURS to move one load.  I also did not have a dolly so I had to carry each box down the long hallway to my new room.  The new school is HUGE!  I am class #63 and there are more.  Tomorrow, I rent a moving truck and dolly and try again.  When you have worked in a little school of only 29 classrooms for 20 years it is a huge change.

Anyway, after 20 years of collecting stuff, I am really ready to get rid of stuff now.  However, I still have to move it to the new school first.  If I used my sister's truck?  I would still be moving stuff in October.  I think the van will be a better option.
