We had our first  teacher day today.  My 30 minute drive took me an hour and a half.  They are re-paving the road out there.  I was barely moving for over 45 minutes!  I didn't mind.  My first meeting wasn't until 9:00.  I got there ten minutes before it started.  Whoa!  I guess I will be leaving earlier Monday.  I have a meeting at 7:30.  And so it goes.

All the rest of my stuff was delivered to my room.  I need to make the guys some cookies for that.  Now comes the challenge of sorting and tossing.  There are almost no shelves and absolutely NO cabinets.  I don't know where I am going to store the stuff I want to keep.  My house is small and I don't have room here either.  Besides, it would take me  at least 15 trips to bring it home in my car (It is little too).  What to do?  I will have a huge give-away!  I will get rid of anything I don't want or don't use.  That should work.  It will also outfit the new Professional Resource Center we are going to have.  I seem to be bent on buying resources all the time.  We can share them now.

I am going to have to get busy.  We have Parent Night next Friday.  And meetings all week.  I will be spending a lot of time after school sitting on my classroom floor getting things sorted.  Oh, well.  That is the fun of the job.
