Mysterious Teaching

Insights behind the perils of being a teacher

An actual honest Great inservice!

I went to an inservice today that I did not want to attend.  I have so much to do in my classroom and I am way behind because before school I do playground duty and after school, I have bus duty and it sometimes goes for 45 minutes!  However, I did make it in time and it was fabulous.  It was on Active Engagement.  The presenter was fabulous and she kept us engaged the entire time.  I will go to any workshop or inservice she offers from now on.  She gave us a list of resources and ideas to attract attention of the non-interested students.  I can't wait to try it.
