Mysterious Teaching

Insights behind the perils of being a teacher

Teacher you know everything!

My class thinks I know or should know absolutely everything in the world.  I collected popcorn money and names and sent it to the office this morning per morning instructions.  At lunch the kids wanted their money back.

Me:  I sent it to the office with the list of people buying.

Them: Where did it go after that?

Me: I don't know.  I think the PTO picked it up so they would know how much popcorn to make.

Them:  Where will the popcorn be?

Me:  I don't know.  I am not in the office to ask.

Them:  Will it be in the cafeteria?

Me:  I don't know.  They didn't tell me.

Them:  We can't buy the popcorn if you don't give us our money back.

Me:  They HAVE your money and they have your name and you will get your popcorn.

Them:  I don't see how if we don't have our money.

Me: sigh...
