My hopes and prayers for all of you are that you all have a relaxing and Merry Christmas.  At our school, we still get to have Christmas Parties.  In fact, the district office is throwing a party for all the employees.  That is a new one for us. 

I will be in Nebraska with my twin sister.  I will be freezing my glutes off.  However, at least I will not be alone.  My own kids feel so guilty when they can't come home and then I feel guilty too.  I actually LIKE being alone most of the time.  I can sleep as much as I want or need and I can spend the rest of the time reading and eating.

I  want you all, my friends, to relax and have a wonderful holiday.  Breathe deep, enjoy your favorite things and people, and forget about working for a few weeks.  I love you all.  You make it worth teaching and complaining.
